Safe Spaces for Growing Minds
At East Village Early Education, the safety, wellbeing, and rights of every child are at the heart of what we do. We provide a secure and nurturing environment where children feel protected, respected, and valued.
Our team shares a strong commitment to child safety. All educators hold a current Working with Children Check and complete training in Child Protection, Mandatory Reporting, and protective behaviours. We actively integrate the NSW Child Safe Standards into our policies, procedures, and daily practices to ensure that these principles guide every decision we make.
We maintain higher staff-to-child ratios than required, ensuring children are always adequately supervised and supported. Together with families, we create a culture of care, trust, and accountability—so every child can learn and grow in a safe and empowering environment.
East Village Early Education is located just a short distance from Rose Bay Village, set on over 1,000 sqm of level land with a dedicated car park for convenient drop-off and pick-up.
Our classrooms are spacious, bright, and filled with natural light, with large windows that open directly onto outdoor play areas tailored to each age group. We have three classrooms:
- DUCKINGS - Infants (1 to 2 years)
- TURTLES - Toddlers (2 to 3 years)
- DOLPHINS - Preschool (3 to 5 years)
Each outdoor space is thoughtfully designed to meet the developmental needs of each age group. The preschool playground features a large climbing fort with multiple slides, a bike track, a water play station, and a sandpit. For children aged 1–3 years, the playground is full of wonder, including magical garden cubbies, sandpits, and designated water play areas.
Every area of East Village encourages exploration, active play, and social connection, providing a safe and inspiring environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Play is central to our daily routine. Free play fosters independence, creativity, and social development as children embark on their own adventures. We offer two large outdoor playgrounds designed specifically for different age groups:
- Children 1–3 years: A safe, nurturing space with age-appropriate educational toys, soft surfaces, and plenty of sensory and imaginative play opportunities.
- Children 3–5: A lively, stimulating environment where children can climb, explore, run, and engage in more challenging activities.
Our outdoor spaces are supervised by caring educators who support learning through play, encourage curiosity, and nurture independence.
