Our Classrooms
All of the educators at East Village Education are experienced and qualified in Early Childhood Education.

DUCKLINGS - Infants (1 to 2 years)
For our youngest learners, we create a warm, nurturing, and secure environment where each child feels loved and cared for. These early years are filled with discovery and growth, and our educators are dedicated to supporting every milestone as children develop new skills and explore their surroundings.

TURTLES - Toddlers (2 to 3 years)
Our toddler spaces are designed to encourage independence and the development of self-help skills. Through play and exploration, children learn to build confidence, resilience, and a sense of self within a calm and engaging atmosphere.

DOLPHINS - Preschool (3 to 5 years)
Our preschool program focuses on small group learning experiences that prepare children for the transition to school. Through Structured activities, free play and guided learning, children build foundational skills setting them up for success in their next stage of education. The preschoolers have a large playground with a bike track, climbing fort and sandpit allowing plenty of room to run and play freely.
Aspects of The Curriculum
CREATIVE ARTS
At East Village Education, we place creativity as an important part of early childhood development. Our art program inspires children to use their imaginations, and build self-confidence through painting, drawing, sculpting, and crafting. With a wide range of materials and open-ended projects, children are free to explore and create in a supportive space while using their own imagination.
NUMERACY
Through games, counting beads puzzles and one on one teaching children begin to understand mathematical concepts such as counting sorting patterns and basic addition. Children learn to add , subtract giving them a sound understanding of mathematical concepts .Our educators weave numeracy into everyday experiences, helping children build confidence and a love of learning.
PHONICS AND LITERACY
Language and Literacy Development
At East Village Early Education, we believe that strong language skills are the foundation for lifelong learning. Our curriculum integrates fun and interactive experiences that help children develop early literacy in a natural, engaging way.
We introduce children to Letterland — a phonics-based program that brings letters and sounds to life through stories and songs. Children learn to recognize and pronounce letters while enjoying music and movement activities that reinforce their understanding.
To support hands-on learning, we trace letters in sand and textured materials, helping children build fine motor skills and confidence in writing.
WATER PLAY
Our dedicated water play area invites children to explore concepts such as pouring, measuring, floating and sinking through hands on experiences. its also a great opportunity for sensory development and social interaction as children learn to share, cooperate and experiment through play.
Learning Through Play
We start our day with structured classroom activities allowing children to move freely choosing an area of interest. We offer a variety of age appropriate activities including art, puzzles, construction, home corner and book corner.
We believe children learn best when they are free to explore, discover, and make sense of the world around them through meaningful play experiences. Our educators carefully support this process by asking thoughtful questions, encouraging curiosity, and extending each child’s ideas to deepen their understanding.
Curriculum
Our Curriculum covers art, language, numeracy, science, sustainability, cooking and cultural awareness. Educators intentionally engage with children to model new ideas, share thinking, and guide conversations that strengthen their knowledge, confidence, and love of learning.
Framework for Quality Education
Our teaching and learning practices are shaped by the Early Years Learning Framework . Through regular observation, reflection, and planning, we ensure that every child's interests are catered for creating experiences that are balanced and ensuring the curriculum meets their individual needs so we can nurture their growth and development.
Teachers
Our teachers play a pivotal role in ensuring children feel welcome and settled in their approach to learning.
